Hi,
I have VMware installed, and it makes its user start-up
binary, /usr/bin/vmware, setuid root. Something in my system thinks it
knows better and keeps taking away public read and execute permission
on this file. I'm finding this annoying and tedious to keep resetting.
Does anyone know what software might be doing this? I run rkhunter and
secchk with their default configuration and on their default
cron-driven schedules.
Thanks.
