Use vncserver to run X remotely to get your work done, via a gui, then kill
it afterwards.
The real point here is, use what tools you need to get your work done
quickly and efficiently.
For the sys admin, vncserver, yast2, ssh, and webmin are great for
accomplishing almost all the administration needs.
