SUSE to XP

Desktop is XPSP2 notebook is SUSE 10.0. They are both on D-Link Wireless
but using wired.
When I'm in XP mode on notebook Network, File sharing and printing
sharing work fine.
I can't get SUSE to see XP and I can't get XP to see SUSE. There are an
over whelming amount of Network options in SUSE and I have Googled it
and read the man and can't find the answer. Anyone have any Ideas???
