Hi all,
I'm setting up Suse 10 on a new install. Setup went extremely well. However when I select the nvidia update in yast, x won't start. The boot process gets to runlevel 5, but xdm won't start. Tried running sax2 in runlevel 3, but that won't run either. I did sax2 -m 0=nv which go a very far off but running (sort of) sax configure screen. Not sure what is up with this. My 9.3 install runs very well on this same box with the yast nvidia update.
Running the nvidia update is not too critical on this box, but I was wondering what was up with this. Is this card getting too old to be supported in suse 10, or x11? Or is this a bug?
My card is NVidia Riva TNT2 Model 64.
TIA for any pointers.
Jim
