evolution vfolders

I like to keep a special note of some email messages that I think may be
useful in the future. Previously, I just copied them to another folder.
I thought I'd try to use Evolution's vfolders, so I made a vfolder that
selects for 'important' messages. But when I mark messages as important,
they don't show up in the vfolder. Does anybody know how to do this?
