Had the exact same sequence of upgrades and mouse problem with 10.0.
Since I still had the 90 day install support, I had them guide me through
key strokes(mostly tab,arrow,F2) resulting in being able to run Sax2 and
get to the mouse configuration. The mouse is a std PS2.. But by changing the
name to the first one listed for PS2(mice?) and configuring, all was OK and
was
back in business. Sorry can't be more specific.

Thanks a lot, when I set the mouse just to lowest PS2 mouse it is working.
