In a none complex document you 'should' use tabs. If you want
complexity then you should look into using a table if the program is
capable of it. If the lines start to wrap then line the tabs up
appropiately, it's easy enough to do.

For once this is my territory :-) I've been taught both standard
English office practice and Business English. I may not be a
programmer but I do know about this :-)
