I have used a number of mobos exclusively with 7.2/7.3 Prof (I normally
only keep mobos for around 4 months or so).

I have been running the EP-8KHA+ mobo with 1600+ and PC266 RAM and am
very happy with it. It has been used with both 3Com 3c905B and Intel Pro
100+ nics, I am currently using an inexpensive Gainward TNT2 M64 32MB
AGP card in it. I do not however use the onboard pseudo-audio-thingy,
instead I have a real audio card.

I can highly recommend this mobo.

BTW:
If you can, try to get hold of the EP-8KHAL mobo, it has 5 PCI rather
than the 6 of the 8KHA+ and is even cheaper.
I am thinking about the EP-8K3A (KT333 chipset), no RAID, only about 20%
more than the 8KHA+ ... need to sell my little server and, hmmm, ...

I have not tried the ABIT board so I cannot compare them.
