I know how it works, I do administer an OS project.
I also know people need steering to more productive efforts sometimes.

But don't get me wrong, all those being able to install kde3 apps not
present in kde4 now thanks to Ilya's efforts will be thankful, me
included.
Still, it would be important to try and close the functionality gap
between 3 and 4. Because it's the way of progress.
