Hello DenverD,

NOW is usually the best time to do anything of genuine importance.  You 
speak of "we" in "need to increase the speed at which we work toward an 
openSUSE Foundation *and* build more independence".  I certainly agree, 
but I honestly don't know who the relevant "we" actually are and what, 
if any, resources are available.  I'm willing to help anyway I can ... 
but that assumes there is something I can do.  I'm not Mark 
Shuttleworth; all I have to contribute is a little time and expertise!  
That said, you know where to find me ... I'll be wearing the propeller cap.
