It is per mail list ID and opensuse-project is not that active group.

The only way is to fiddle a bit with mbox file that can be downloaded from 
archive. They are per month so not too large. For opensuse mail list the ID is 
over 100,000.

I usually drop them in the email client mail folder, but today I used import 
function in KMail and pointed to opensuse-project-2010-06.mbox file and import 
was successful with UNIX, Evolution filter. 
The download was opensuse-project-2010-06.mbox.gz and direct import was not 
successful, maybe some other filter will do the work, but mentioned didn't, so 
I extracted mbox from gzipped archive.

After this point I would have to copy real opensuse-project to newly created 
folder MBOX-opensuse-project-2010-06, get rid of duplicates using KMail > 
Folder > Remove Duplicate Messages, check what is left and copy that to 
project folder. 

A bit of work, but I don't do that often, so it is acceptable.
