Solution 2: break akonadi-runtime by ignoring some of its dependencies

I've seen this issue in atleast 2-3 other Opensuse installs. KDE 4.3.4
upgrade is smooth, its the 4.4 RC upgrades that are facing this
problem.

Any suggestions?

Have you disabled OSS repo? .. or how else do you manage to not have mysql
available?

That worked! For some weird reason...(maybe I was too drunk yesterday
:D), the OSS repo was disabled, but set to autorefresh. Thats why I
didn't notice it :) Happily running KDE 4.4 RC now.

Just a side note, isn't running a MySql server for kdepim too much of
a usage of memory? With Nepomuk, Akonadi and MySql enabled, my
Thinkpad's gonna quickly start choking.
