There are 3, xearth (ah because I installed it). kworldwatch and kwebdesktop/

I selected all 3 (seperately :), left the command line options untouched,
changed them (%x %y -> 1280 1024 e.g), but no running program in the
background. Logged off as well and as last resort booted the whole thing ->
no xearth in background :(
Any idea what can be the cause of this?
