Hi,
it took almost a day to download all Xfree 4.3 and qt etc from SuSE's ftp, but
now it works fine.
I did install first the updated XFree4.3 only, and the problem was still
there. Only after installing also the qt3.1.1 which came with it on SuSE's
ftp (updating the qt3.1.1 from kde.org installed with kde3.1.1) it works
again:
- no more crash when printing in kde, from whatever application, using
whatever font.
- all default fonts are visible again in konsole (small, medium, etc).
What is still not working is the font preview in the font installer and the
display of small fonts in openoffice, they are still invisible, but I can
live with that for now.
Again, thanks for all the help!
Regards,
Matt T.
