Ya know. I'm not really sure. I would check the version of the RPM's
that were installed against the new one's. I just happen to look over at
kde.org and figure out that the 3.1.1 build on that ftp server was 5
builds newer then the pkgs on SuSE's ftp site..even though the same
person makes them. Don't as me why but things are not in sync. The pkgs
on the SuSE ftp server have issues such as KDE's screen saver not
accepting passwd's to unlock the screen but the build on kde.org works
just fine.

If kinternet works for you the way you have it..stick with it. They'll
sort everything out eventually.
