Hi,
Some confusion in my mind about which repo contains the latest pkg
version among official update 11.2 repository
and /repositories/GNOME:/STABLE:/2.28/openSUSE_11.2 ??
G:S:2.28 is supposed to be a superset of the updates from 11.2; so
G:S:2.28 can potentially be a bit more recent.
Hi Vincent ;-)
I ran a dist-upgrade disabling the STABLE:/2.28 repo and then I've got a
problem with gdm login which stuck and never starts.
Hrm, gdm is the same in both G:S:2.28 and the 11.2 updates.
Apparently no properly the same:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/STABLE:/2.28/openSUSE_11.2/x86_64/
is hosting: gdm-2.28.2-1.10.x86_64.rpm 20-Mar-2010
While:
http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.2/rpm/x86_64/
is hosting: gdm-2.28.2-0.1.3.x86_64.rpm 21-Jan-2010
How and where is it stuck? Anything in the logs?
Some references to NFS stale lock, but effectively I have not found any
lock file here.
So I re-enabled G:S:2.28 and re-installed the previous versions which
seem to be the latest. Hope this will work :-/
