The OOo applications (Writer, Calc, Impress, Base...) are not "modules".

You won't save more than a few MB unless OOo (the software itself, not
the package) is fixed. Most of it is always needed.
What other distros (and the upstream RPMs) do is something else, it
might be nice for different reasons, but saving space cannot be the reason.
