Antes de despotricar en contra de una herramienta X; podrias informarte
un poquito mejor ? si no haces el ridiculo en publico, y dan muchos
menos ganas de gastar tiempo en contestarte tu pregunta.

El problema que vez ahi, no tiene, **ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA QUE VER** con
zypper.. es o un problemate temporal del redirector
(download.opensuse.org) o un problema entre la silla y el monitor ( o
sea tuyo) :-)

intenta lo siguiente:

elimina el repo http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3/repo/oss
luego

zypper sa http://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/oss

luego intenta instalar lo que necesitas.
