The DELETE request on projects wasn't supposed to be available to anyone 
except admins as long as it doesn't work in the backend. I missed to set 
appropriate access rights, blame me for the current mess.

For now I disabled project deletion for anyone except people with admin 
rights, as soon as the backend supports it I will reenable it for project 
maintainers.
