What does Ghostscript report when you let it process
your new.pdf file via "gs -r60 new.pdf"?
Does it depend on the Ghostscript version?
In openSUSE:11.4 we did a Ghostscript major version upgrade to 9.00.
Does it also happen with Ghostscript 8.70 in openSUSE:11.3
or with Ghostscript 8.62 version in SLE11-SP1?
Does it perhaps work when using a different PDF version via
-dCompatibilityLevel=1.4
-dCompatibilityLevel=1.3
-dCompatibilityLevel=1.2
(see the /usr/bin/ps2pdf* scripts)?
