[opensuse] Apper wants to update KDE 4.8.5 on 4.9.1
On openSUSE 12.2 KDE Apper sends a funny message. After 5 days a clean install openSUSE 12.2 KDE 4.8.4 I did add KR49 ( KDE 4.9.1 ) and made a zypper dup --from KR49 with no important issues. Recently, maybe 3 days ago I have been receiving an Apper request to install an openSUSE 12.2 KDE 4.8..5 patch. I have been ignoring it with no possibility to disable this warning. Something annoying. Need your advise. 1) Downgrade to 4.8.5 by disabling KR49 repo updating and then go back to 4.9.1 2) Ignore Update patch to KDE 4.8.5 3) Thanks in advance. Thank you, Gunther (sorry mispelled) I did a fool stuff. I temporarily disalbed KR49 to update and enabled it again to update from KR49 repo. Mostly everything is working fine except Login. It seems I broke the GUI Login Access and NVRM . I guess now the best option is zypper al patch openSUSE-2012-588 Never go back. ;-D -- Ricardo Chung | Panama openSUSE Linux Ambassador openSUSE 11.4 | KDE 4.7 | Mesa-Nouveau 3D Linux for Education -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
