[opensuse-arm] qemu/kvm problems
I'm trying to use qemu/kvm to run virtual machines on my aarch64 machine (SoftIron Overdrive 3000) running Leap42.1 but I'm running into problems at every turn. I'm not an expert, and don't understand well enough to debug. Can anybody who has successfully run VMs give me an example command line, or at least some idea what approach I should be using? thanks much, -david -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
Hi David,

currently the best way to run kvm is by doing it manually, since the libvirt vm-install and other integrations have not been ported yet. you can find an example invocation in every build log for aarch64, e.g. qemu-system-aarch64 -bios /usr/share/qemu/qemu-uefi-aarch64.bin -cpu cortex-a57 -M virt -enable-kvm -cpu host Greetings, Dirk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
